DVS and Kleynkoor Academy to celebrate 75 years of freedom

Last year, on the fifth of May at 9 o’clock in the morning, Dutch children had the opportunity to sing along with the ‘Children’s liberation song’ (NL: Kinderbevrijdingslied) made by the Kleynkoor Academy to celebrate 75 years of freedom. Especially today, it is of importance to realise how lucky we are to live in a country where people live in freedom, and to reflect on the fact that there are many places in the world where this is not the case. The ‘Children’s liberation song’ was developed to commemorate this feeling, and to allow children to consciously experience and celebrate the feeling of freedom via the act of singing and dancing.

The VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ considers, just like the Kleynkoor Academy, freedom a luxury that should be propagated across the entire Earth and may even exceed its planetary boundaries. For this reason, the VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ was pleased to announce that the ‘Children’s liberation song’ will be sent to space on board of the Da Vinci Satellite!
